Abstract:
In his diaries, Leonardo Da Vinci described seven principles for developing a liberally educated mind. Leonardo da Vinci’s principles remind us of the importance of understanding the interconnectedness among all disciplines. Practicing da Vinci’s seven principles provides a method for developing the type of mind that can help us “navigate” through our increasingly complex world.

For the past twenty-three years, Miguel Sosa has dedicated himself to promoting the kind of liberal education that “opens minds” in three areas: Communication, Creativity and life-long learning. As a student of the Renaissance, Miguel delivers presentations on the value of liberal education today. Besides teaching in the EAP, Miguel writes music and plays the piano.
